Our client, a leading financial services and insurance group, is seeking a Solution Architect to own the end-to-end solution design for their finance and actuarial transformation. Reporting to the Head: Centre IT, you will translate business requirements into robust, scalable and secure architectures spanning ERP, actuarial and data platforms, integration and cloud. You will define target-state architecture for the finance operating model, present designs to architecture review boards, and provide hands-on technical guidance to delivery teams through to implementation and stabilisation.
Key focus areas: solution and integration design, finance data architecture, architectural governance and assurance, vendor technical evaluation, and executive stakeholder engagement.

- 8+ years of experience in IT solution or technical architecture
- 4+ years of experience in insurance or financial services
- Experience delivering finance ERP and reporting solutions at group or enterprise scale
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, or Workday
- Experience with point solutions such as OneStream, Anaplan, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Coupa, or BlackLine
- Strong integration architecture experience across APIs, EDI, ESB, event streaming, and batch patterns
- Data architecture experience with Data Mesh, MDM, finance data lakes or warehouses, ETL, Informatica, and SQL
- Cloud architecture experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including migration and hybrid patterns
- Exposure to AI, RPA, and ML in finance contexts
- Working knowledge of security, IAM, and data privacy by design
- Experience leading cross-functional design workshops and architecture forums
- Experience with Visio or equivalent modeling tools, Jira, and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
