We are seeking an experienced Lead, Project Management professional to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects and programs. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with organizational goals and driving stakeholder satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position will require you to work onsite at our downtown Phoenix location 4-5 days a week

  • Lead end-to-end project management across multiple initiatives, ensuring successful delivery

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business priorities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, and external partners

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics (KPIs)

  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication across all levels

  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practices

  • Support change management and ensure successful adoption of project outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • This position will require you to work onsite at our downtown Phoenix location 4-5 days a week

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management

  • Proven experience leading large-scale, complex projects or programs

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification

  • Experience in government, transportation, or regulated industries (e.g., DMV, ADOT)

  • Background in digital transformation, cloud migrations, or system modernization initiatives

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party partners

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $79,920 to $152,160 based on a full-time schedule.  

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California (San Francisco Bay Area):$95,880to$182,520 

California (All Other):$87,960 to $167,400 

Colorado: $79,920 to $152,160 

Massachusetts$79,920 to $167,400 

New York City: $95,880 to $182,520 

Washington: $87,960 to $167,400 

Washington DC:$87,960 to $167,400 

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
