The opportunity:

We're seeking experienced virtual instructors to teach our Patient Care Technician (PCT) program. Stepful's programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to finding high-quality healthcare jobs.

This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contract role that reports to the Senior Operations Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom, two mornings or evenings per week

• Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary

• Communicate regularly with students over email and other communication tools, inspiring them and guiding them through graduation

• Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed

What you’ll bring:

• Experience teaching Patient Care Technician (PCT) courses online, including course delivery, assessment, and student support

• Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with digital tools for teaching, teaching in either online or blended/hybrid formats

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable using LMS platforms and virtual teaching tools

• Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and career-focused healthcare education

• Ability to work 10 hours per week per class taught

Bonus points if:

• You hold clinical experience working as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The hourly rate range for this opportunity is $30,00 - $33.00/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.
