About The Role
We are seeking a diligent and dynamic Onchain Analyst to join our team. This role will be critical to monitoring the state of the Aptos onchain ecosystem, including DeFi protocols, ecosystem token launches, and onchain liquidity. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in onchain analysis and DeFi mechanics, a basic understanding of tokenomics and token launches, and be independent-minded, operationally rigorous, and have a strong attention to detail.
This role reports to the Aptos Foundation.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist DeFi and Liquidity teams in creating and executing strategies to grow the Aptos onchain ecosystem
- Create analytics dashboards to gather insights into onchain behaviours of liquidity providers and other users
- Work directly with DeFi protocols to design and implement new products, markets, features, integrations, and growth campaigns
- Track performance of external partners with key roles in the onchain ecosystem
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in web3
- Deep expertise in onchain analysis (reading block explorers, setting up Dune dashboards, etc.)
- Familiarity with DeFi mechanics; experience directly running complex strategies preferred (e.g. yield farming, arbitrage), personally or on behalf of a fund
- Familiarity with onchain token launch and liquidity dynamics
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
