Client Onboarding Manager, Exchange US Operations

Position Overview 

As the Client Onboarding Manager for Bullish US Operations, you will play an integral part in our business expansion by ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for new clients in the US & globally. In this role, you will lead the onboarding process for US Institutional Clients from initial client engagement to account setup, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. You will collaborate closely with Client Onboarding, Sales, Legal, & Compliance teams in APAC, EU, and the US to address client needs, resolve issues, and enhance the overall client experience. 

This position will be required to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week at our NYC office based near Union Square. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct KYC and EDD on corporate and individual customers, including enhanced due diligence (EDD) and periodic reviews

• Make Onboarding recommendations to senior management related to potential customers

• Understand and apply the overlapping local and global regulatory requirements

• Work with business stakeholders to ensure that potential customers are properly assessed to identify possible integrity / financial crime / sanctions / terrorism linked risks and onboarded in a compliant manner

• Support the Global Bullish team as needed with KYC related tasks

• Create and manage customer accounts

• Occasional travel may be required

Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of directly related experience in a corporate onboarding role with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day KYC onboarding compliance affairs

• Good knowledge on provisions of crypto/fiat licensed entities local laws, directives, regulations and otherwise standards applicable

• Sounded market knowledge of leading edge KYC solutions and market practices

• Competent in coordinating, organizing and relationship building; excellent time management skills 

• Preferred skills: 

• Highly preferred for candidates to possess ACAMS / CAMS / CCAS / ICA certifications or similar

• Professional experience at a digital assets company is a major plus

• Good knowledge of upcoming regulations of virtual currency policies is a strong plus

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $137000 - $165,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
