The team combines advanced analytics and data science capabilities with core consulting expertise to support engagement teams, generate actionable business insights, and deliver measurable impact for clients.

Role Summary

The Associate Director will lead large, complex, analytics-enabled transformation engagements across multiple workstreams, partnering with global consulting teams, senior clients, and internal stakeholders. The role requires substantial depth in at least one functional area—Pricing, Procurement, or Supply Chain—combined with strong commercial judgement, structured problem-solving, and advanced analytical capability. The Associate Director will shape the overall solution approach, establish delivery governance, manage senior stakeholder expectations, and lead multidisciplinary teams from problem definition through implementation and value realization. This is a leadership role for an entrepreneurial professional who can navigate ambiguity, influence internal and external stakeholders, and deliver measurable, sustainable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise — One Primary Area Required

Candidates should demonstrate substantial hands-on and leadership depth in at least one of the following areas. Experience across more than one area is advantageous.

  • Supply Chain: End-to-end supply chain transformation; demand and supply planning; inventory and working-capital optimization; logistics and distribution performance; network design; manufacturing analytics; service-level improvement; operating-model and KPI redesign; implementation and value realization.

  • Procurement: Procurement transformation; spend and category analytics; strategic sourcing; supplier segmentation and performance; should-cost and cost-driver analysis; contract and compliance analytics; savings governance; procurement operating-model design; implementation and value realization.

  • Pricing: Pricing transformation; pricing strategy and governance; price-volume-mix and margin-waterfall analysis; segmentation and willingness-to-pay; discount, rebate, deal and quote analytics; price realization; commercial operating-model design; implementation and value realization.

Leadership

  • Lead large, complex transformation projects or major project modules spanning multiple analytical and functional workstreams, geographies, and stakeholder groups.

  • Define the overall delivery strategy, operating rhythm, governance model, quality standards, and escalation mechanisms for engagements.

  • Mobilize and lead teams of Leads, Senior Analysts, and Analysts; clarify roles, allocate resources, manage capacity, and build capabilities through coaching and feedback.

  • Sponsor the development of knowledge assets, standardized KPI frameworks, accelerators, and capability-building initiatives across teams and functional areas.

Business, Functional & Analytical Problem Solving

  • Apply deep functional expertise to diagnose complex performance issues and identify value opportunities across revenue, margin, cost, cash flow, working capital, and service outcomes.

  • Structure ambiguous, enterprise-level business questions into clear hypotheses, workstreams, analytical pathways, and implementation priorities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead senior stakeholder discussions, workshops, and steering forums to refine problem statements, make trade-offs, resolve issues, and build commitment to change.

  • Synthesize complex analyses into compelling executive narratives, recommendations, and decision materials tailored to leadership audiences.

  • Build durable client relationships through sound judgement, transparent communication, proactive issue resolution, and a strong focus on business impact.

Technical Excellence

  • Set and enforce standards for analytical quality, data governance, model documentation, reproducibility, scalability, and performance across projects.

  • Anticipate data gaps, delivery risks, interdependencies, organizational constraints, and adoption barriers, and establish mitigation and contingency plans.

  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods, reporting standards, project governance, and reusable analytical solutions across the practice.

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in analytics-led business transformation, consulting, or a comparable industry role, including leadership of complex client or enterprise initiatives.

  • Demonstrated depth in at least one functional area—Pricing, Procurement, or Supply Chain—with a strong record of shaping transformation agendas and converting analysis into measurable, sustained business impact.

  • Proven ability to lead large, complex transformation projects involving multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, significant ambiguity, and demanding delivery timelines.

  • Strong people leadership capability, including experience managing managers or workstream leads, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring rigorous project execution.

  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL/Python and Excel, with the ability to review complex data transformations, query logic, models, calculations, and analytical outputs; hands-on proficiency is strongly preferred.

  • Strong command of financial and operational value drivers, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and KPIs relevant to the chosen functional area.

  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and enterprise systems. Familiarity with platforms such as SAP or comparable pricing, procurement, and supply chain systems is beneficial.

  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior and global clients, facilitate difficult decisions, and build alignment across diverse groups.

  • Commercial acumen and project-management discipline, including the ability to scope work, estimate effort, manage resources and risks, and maintain delivery quality across a portfolio of work.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to identifying client opportunities, delivery improvements, risks, and new solution pathways.

  • Exposure to digital transformation and AI/ML applications together with experience embedding new ways of working, is an advantage.
