OFFLINE PAID MEDIA LEAD (STARLINK)
The Paid Media team is seeking a Paid Media Lead to scale our offline media efforts globally across audio, TV, and out-of-home. This person will play a key role in the strategy, execution, and performance of our offline media programs — helping Starlink reach new audiences, build brand awareness, and drive high-quality leads to the site.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of offline media and integrated marketing strategy. You’ll partner closely with design, content, product, and external partners to define the channel roadmap, media planning, campaign execution, and measurement to drive brand awareness and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own research, planning, budgeting, execution, and optimization of offline media campaigns across audio (e.g., podcasts, radio), video (e.g., linear TV, CTV, streaming), and out-of-home
- Partner with product and content teams to develop creative messaging tailored to the target audience for offline media, while ensuring consistency in brand communication across different formats
- Lead media agency partners in campaign scoping, media planning, creative execution, and contracting
- Conduct brand awareness and market research on the target audience to inform creative strategy and media mix for offline campaign activation
- Develop offline media marketing roadmap in priority markets, defining local tentpole moments and key activations across offline marketing channels
- Test new offline formats and publishers to uncover scalable growth levers
- Oversee campaign timelines, asset delivery, and legal compliance across all offline channels
- Work closely with the data analytics and paid media teams to implement campaign reporting and measurement
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related fields
- 3+ years of professional experience in offline media channels (audio, OOH, TV, print etc.), including hands-on experience negotiating with publishers, networks, and media vendors to secure favorable rates and placements
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Deep understanding of paid media (all channels) and strong knowledge of the media industry
- Experience leading media agencies on campaign strategy and execution
- Proven success and expertise in building integrated global marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness across all offline channels
- Strong project management skills and the ability to autonomously lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with advanced measurement and analytics, including brand lift, awareness survey, incrementality, and media mix modeling
- Independently motivated, with a track record of project ownership and delivering measurable results
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work in office five days per week
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends, as needed
- Willingness to travel to other SpaceX locations and events, as needed
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Level I: $85,000.00 - $100,000/per year
Level II: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
