Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Trading Development Team under HKEX’s Operations Division, who will contribute to strategically important initiatives relevant to the Hong Kong securities, derivatives and Stock Connect markets. Responsibilities:
Assist in implementation of trading platform and data analytics projects for the HK securities, derivatives and Stock Connect markets
Gather business requirements and work with project team members to prepare documentation (e.g. project plan, business requirement and test plan)
Collaborate with an offshore test team to perform and support various types of testing such as UAT and user integration test
Analyse the technical and operational system requirements, create & review necessary documentation including but not limited to test plan, test condition, test case for the overall system acceptance
Perform data analysis, analyse market trends and derive business insights from big data analytics to support business proposal and MIS reporting
Conduct research for business-related topics independently
Requirements:
University degree, preferably in Finance/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Business Administration or related disciplines
High degree of accuracy, attentiveness to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, and able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
Familiar with project management methodology and conversant with technology
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Experience in Bloomberg, FactSet, WIND, Python, SQL, Tableau and PowerBI, etc. is an advantage
