Office Services Lead
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Office Services professional who will help create a safe, efficient and engaging workplace environment in South Africa.
In this role, you will work closely with local leadership and regional teams to manage office facilities, support business operations, and ensure a great employee experience.
What you will be doing
- Overseeing day-to-day office and facilities operations (vendors, reception, office services)
- Supporting real estate activities such as leases, renewals, and office planning
- Driving workplace improvements to enhance employee experience and productivity
- Managing facility-related budgets and supporting capital projects
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Acting as the local point of contact for EHS and workplace-related topics
- Supporting office-related projects and regional initiatives across EMEA
- Managing IAS (Institute for Advancing Sciences) activities in South Africa (events, logistics, onsite support)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across countries and cultures
What we are looking for
- Degree or equivalent experience (5–8+ years in office/facilities management)
- Strong experience in managing office operations and vendors
- Background in project and budget management
- Highly organized, independent, and proactive
- Comfortable working across international teams (EMEA exposure is a plus)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience in medical devices or other regulated environments is an advantage
