There is never a dull moment on this strategic effort, a cornerstone for the Nation's security! The Sentinel program will replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the first of its kind in over 50 years. The MMIII missile fleet was fielded in the 1970s and some of components date back to the 1960s. The GBSD program is considered a "mega-project" and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new GBSD weapon system acquisition effort brings the newest digital engineering tools and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075.
The Role
BAE Systems is looking for a Project Manager to lead the development of an integration team consisting of workflow, office, configuration and document management as well as schedule, test and security oversight. The position will directly support the US Air Force Sentinel Program Office through the Integration Support Contract. You will be part of a cohesive and integrated Sentinel team responsible for supporting weapon system planning required for Sentinel deployment across California, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota from our Program office located at Hill AFB in Utah.
Who You Are

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You are a collaborator and love working with a greater team to further the organization's higher-level goals and objectives
