The Position

We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to support smooth day-to-day operations across the company, with a particular focus on the Santiago team. In this role, you’ll manage payroll administration, assist with core HR processes, and keep our office running efficiently. You’ll be a key partner to Leadership, People Operations, Finance, and employees, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and a positive workplace experience.

This is an in-office position based in Santiago, Chile – you’ll be required to come into our office 5 days a week.

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for Chile-based employees, ensuring accuracy in compensation, benefits, and statutory requirements.

  • Track and manage all expenses specific to the Santiago office, including but not limited to office services, employee reimbursements, equipment, supplies, etc.

  • Maintain up-to-date employee information in internal systems, contracts, and Chilean labor documentation.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll, benefits, and HR-related questions from Santiago employees.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding for employees in Chile, including contract preparation, benefits enrollment, and coordination of required documents.

  • Ensure compliance with Chilean labor regulations, social security requirements, sick leave documentation, and other statutory processes.

  • Coordinate with external payroll, benefits, and accounting providers when needed.

Office Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Santiago office, ensuring it is stocked, organized, and functioning smoothly.

  • Manage relationships with office vendors, building administration, cleaning staff, and maintenance providers.

  • Handle office access, keys, visitor coordination, and deliveries.

  • Organize team events/offsites, celebrations, activities in the Santiago office.

  • Support logistics for visits from leadership or teammates traveling from New York.

  • Assist in coordination of onsite interviews for potential candidates.

People Ops & Operations Support

  • Assist with HR documentation, employee records, and policy administration

  • Partner with People Ops on initiatives such as engagement programs, surveys, compliance updates, etc.

  • Support PTO tracking, leave management, and local inquiries.

  • Help implement and improve internal processes as the team grows.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in payroll, HR coordination, or office administration in Chile.

  • Basic understanding of Chilean labor laws, payroll cycles, and statutory requirements.

  • Experience working with payroll systems and outside payroll providers.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with local and international teams.

  • Outstanding communication skills in English.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and more.

  • Based in SCL.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Monthly salary of CLP $2.000.000 to $2.500.000 (líquido)
