Role
We are seeking an Office Manager to join our New York team! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere and acting as the face of Reorg for our employees and visitors. You’ll ensure that our office operations are running smoothly and will act as the main point of contact for all office queries. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities with a calm and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Implement, refine, & improve policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinate internal and external resources, cultivating strong relationships with vendors
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding office operations; offer timely answers, resources, and solutions to support ongoing operational success
- Oversee the reception area to ensure a welcoming and personalized experience for visitors
- Ensure peak office efficiency by organizing common areas, managing correspondence, and overseeing supplies and equipment; implement preventative measures for potential issues
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, mailing and shipping packages, and updating office procedures
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate essential deliveries and weekly lunches
- Manage all aspects of space and infrastructure planning, including moves, additions, and changes to workstations
- Manage and maintain Fire & Life Safety plans for the office
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in office management
- Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
- Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience in developing internal systems
- Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The salary range estimate for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
