As a Dental Office Manager, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of the dental practice. You will be responsible for supporting the team, driving operational excellence, and helping create an exceptional patient experience while partnering closely with the dentist to support practice growth and success.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the dental practice
- Manage staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management
- Lead daily morning huddles to align the team on schedules, patient needs, priorities, and practice goals, fostering clear communication and accountability throughout the day.
- Oversee scheduling and patient flow to support an efficient patient experience
- Manage billing, insurance verification, coding accuracy, and claims processing
- Monitor key financial metrics and support budgeting and reporting
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the ordering and maintenance of office supplies
- Oversee equipment maintenance and office operations
- Support employee engagement and foster a positive, team-focused culture
- Identify challenges, develop solutions, and proactively address operational needs
- Ensure patients receive exceptional customer service throughout their experience
- Support the overall success, growth, and profitability of the practice
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field preferred
- Previous dental office management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience managing or leading a team
- Knowledge of dental practice operations, scheduling, and patient flow
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems and office software
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

PDP manages non-clinical operations—including human resources, payroll, finance, marketing, technology, insurance, credentialing, revenue-cycle management, and compliance—so dentists can focus on patients, teams, clinical excellence and high-quality care.
