Office Manager (Practice Manager)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated practice manager to lead our dental practice. This position is critical to achieving excellence in patient care while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The practice manager is responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating staff and daily operations to ensure five-star patient experience at an affordable, in-network cost.

The practice manager will work closely with the Regional Team to ensure all financial, clinical, quality, and patient satisfaction goals are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all daily practice operations

  • Supervise front desk staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to maximize efficiency

  • Establish, implement, and monitor office policies and procedures

  • Evaluate staff performance and work quality on a regular basis

  • Review of operational and financial reports

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor practice budgets

  • Oversee appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, treatment plan presentation, and financial coordination

  • Maintain general ledger, billing systems, and cash controls

  • Develop staff schedules to ensure optimal productivity

  • Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Hire, train, and supervise new office employees

  • Provide strong individual and team leadership to ensure exceptional patient service

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Professional communication with patients, team members, management, dentists, and visitors

  • Strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • General knowledge of front and back office dental procedures and clinical policies

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret guidelines and make sound decisions

Benefits and compensation:
• Competitive pay. Starting pay $60,000 to $70,000 plus benefits
