Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking an Office Manager to perform important administrative tasks in support of the Mission Integration Directorate under the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Mission Capabilities (DCTOS(MC)) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). This team constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis study tasks to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies and capabilities applied in new mission concepts of employment to meet evolving joint mission objectives.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills with proficiency in disseminating, implementing, and tracking DoD security/safety procedures required to maintain office space operation. As the Office Manager the candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for a classified suite of 80 desks, submitting and tracking work orders, manage office space schedules, office supplies, and escorting visitors. The person in this role will coordinate the onboarding/offboarding process for contractor teams, coordinate network accounts, security clearances and IT support. The ideal candidate has self-motivation and initiative, capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting while adhering to strict timelines. The candidate should a customer-service focused attitude to assist the team.

On site 5 days a week in Alexandria, VA.

Required Experience

5+ years’ of related professional experience.
Self-starter able to work independently.
High School Diploma.
Secret Clearance, eligible for TS/SCI.
U.S. Citizenship.

Desired Experience

Strong organizational and oral and written communication skills.
Customer-service focused with experience in office support, operations, and management.
