Position: Office Manager
Company: Company Ventures
Reports To: Managing Partner
Employment Status: Full Time, In Office - 22 Vanderbilt
About Company Ventures
Company Ventures is a New York-based early-stage venture firm investing from idea through seed stage, with a focus on healthcare, fintech, and enterprise software. As first-check investors, we back people first.
What sets us apart: we build physical, in-person communities where founders actually build, through Grand Central Tech, our Nashville residency, and the Boost Founder Fellowship. Today that community includes more than 2,500 members, 179 alumni residency companies, and over $4 billion raised.
None of that happens without a great space and a great experience. That's where this role comes in.
About the RoleWe're looking for an Office Manager who wants to be the beating heart of our home base at 22 Vanderbilt. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role for someone who loves creating spaces where people do their best work: our team, our residency founders, and the wider Company Ventures community.
You'll own how the office looks, runs, and feels day to day, from meetings and events to the small details that make a space effortless to be in. If you notice when a conference room needs fresh markers before anyone asks, we want to meet you.
What You'll Do- Own the office experience: keep our space stocked, organized, and welcoming
- Support our founder community: be a warm, reliable presence for residency founders
- Run events, big and small: plan and execute team lunches, community gatherings, and partner events
- Coordinate calendars and meetings: support scheduling and prep conference rooms for the investment team
- Manage vendors and logistics: own relationships with building management, cleaning, and catering partners
- Strengthen our systems: improve processes like supply ordering and event logistics
- Support communications and content: coordinate event promotion, social posts, and community updates
- A highly organized operator who thrives on details and follow-through
- A hospitality mindset: you genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome and taken care of
- Strong instincts for events, vendor management, and facilities coordination
- Comfort supporting a fast-moving team, with the flexibility to reprioritize as the day changes
- Excellent written communication skills, with basic comfort managing social media and content coordination
- A calm, can-do presence, even when three things need your attention at once
- Genuine enthusiasm for startups, founders, and the venture community
- 2 to 5 years of experience in office management, operations, executive support, hospitality, or events
- Experience at a startup, venture firm, or hospitality organization is a plus
- A track record of making the people and spaces around you more organized, welcoming, and easy to work in
If this sounds like your kind of role, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your resume and a short note about why you're excited about Company Ventures to [[email protected]], including any experience you have supporting teams, events, or communities. We review applications on a rolling basis and look forward to meeting you.
