STV is seeking Office Engineer for our REI Group based in our Empire State Building, New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements through review and verification of contractor submissions.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs/RFCs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.
- Coordinate and review material sampling and testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and NYCDDC standards, track material certifications and test results.
- Prepare change orders, claims, material testing reports, and monthly pay estimates.
- Assist in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities.
- Prepare meeting agendas and take accurate meeting minutes to issue a report of meeting to all parties after meetings
- Support field inspection teams by providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with agency representatives, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and construction
- Familiarity with CE&I processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior NYCDCC experience
- Professional Engineer License is a plus
- OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Compass and AASHTOWare project (AWP)
Compensation Range:
