While many current positions have the option of working remotely, our offices are available for all employees to work from on a voluntary basis. We have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Boston, MA to accommodate employees in a hybrid or full-office setting.

This position will work onsite at our beautiful Portland, OR office. This is not a remote or hybrid role. The ideal candidate is generally able to work full or partial days onsite Tuesdays through Thursdays during regular business hours.

C+C Portland is hiring an Office Coordinator to take charge of the smooth running of the office, supporting our employees, clients, and guests, and keeping our amazing culture a number one priority. The Office Administrator will report to the Director of Finance and will interact daily with C+C’ers from every team – virtually and in real life. This role requires a combination of attention to detail, friendly disposition, and hustle. If you live for the thrill of tracking down a lost projector so your colleagues can head to a big client pitch, are a star at keeping office plants thriving and excel spreadsheets humming, and know that a beautiful cheese plate might just save a meeting, this job may be for you.

The Office Coordinator has several recurring and known responsibilities, with a fair amount of the unknown thrown in to solve every day. Here’s a snapshot of priorities:

  • Cover reception duties: answer phones, manage ongoing and outgoing mail/packages/couriers, and welcome clients, and guests to the office. YOU set the first impression with employees, clients, and guests!
  • Maintain general office appearance and upkeep in our beautiful office space in Portland
  • Provide support-level work to our HR team in areas such as employee onboarding and new hire support
  • Provide support-level work to our IT team for basic troubleshooting and keeping equipment needs covered for conference rooms, zoom rooms, and desktop accessories (monitors, keyboards, etc.)
  • Support our Seattle office manager with company wide party planning and event planning; manage local Portland events for staff and clients
  • Order and stock supplies, make monthly food and drink orders for office snacks
  • Keep kitchen, conferences rooms, and all common spaces stocked and tidy; manage dishes, coffee, etc.
  • Provide occasional travel support for clients, senior staff and related needs
  • Provide administrative and client support to C+C employees, as needed
  • Coordinate catering for client meetings and other related events
  • Manage on-site/ offsite storage
  • Coordinate/ manage office maintenance for appliances, space, and other needs
  • Liaise with building facilities for maintenance issues, coordination of emergency drills, etc.
  • Run point for office safety as needed - first aid supplies, emergency evacuation plans, COVID related protocols

  • 2+ years of experience in an Operations/Administration role
  • An eye for aesthetics and ability to keep the office looking sharp
  • Incredibly organized in all aspects of your work
  • Enjoys event planning
  • Valid OR state driver’s license
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; a natural relationship builder
  • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations and provide actionable, resourceful solutions
  • Strong Microsoft Office abilities – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to embrace interruptions throughout the workday

This is a part-time role with an hourly rate of $26-$28. Although the full-time benefits below don’t apply, this position is eligible for paid sick leave, holidays, a cell phone stipend, and public transportation benefits.
