Compensation: $17.25 to $25.89 per hour. (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

 

The Impact You Can Make

Glens Falls Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented individual to support the activities of our Rehabilitation Services. In this position you will be partnering with managers, supervisors and other staff in Rehabilitation Services that impact the financial and operational aspects of the routine departmental functions in a support role. 

 

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs

  • General office/health care administrative tasks such as supply ordering, invoice processing, employee records management, and payroll/timekeeping (in manager absesnce)

  • Assists leadership with daily operations, problem-solving, and staff support in the absence of managers and supervisors

  • Credential therapist for insurance companies, enroll them in any new programs, maintain NPI# for all therapists

  • Coordinate clinical student clearance and educational programs

  • Serves as the primary liaison for support groups, departmental communications, promotional activities, and operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance

 

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Education & Experience: 

    • High School Diploma or GED required.

    • Associates Degree in secretarial science, business administration, data science, or similar strongly preferred.

    • Three years recent experience in general office/health care setting strongly preferred.

  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license, current CPR

  • Skills & Abilities: 

    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

    • Proficient in MS Outlook/Word/Excel /Power Point and various databases

    • Ability to independently organize work/projects in a self-directed manner

    • Ability to define and solve problems, deal with complex variables, detail oriented

    • Ability to apply mathematical concepts with abstract concrete variables

    • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills, computer, and data management skills and proven conflict resolution skills

    • Ability to work cooperatively with hospital personnel in a manner that builds team spirit
