Office Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Varco Home Health & Hospice is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Coordinator to join our Houston office. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in healthcare administration while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

As an Office Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive the care they need by completing Primary Care Physician (PCP) validation and communicating directly with patients and physician offices. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

• Conduct PCP (Primary Care Physician) validation for new and existing patients.
• Contact patients by phone to verify primary care physician information.
• Communicate with physician offices to confirm patient records and referrals.
• Accurately document information in electronic medical records and company systems.
• Follow up on missing or incomplete information in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the intake and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information.
• Provide excellent customer service during every patient interaction.
• Perform general administrative and office support duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, call center, receptionist, or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
