The Thomas Hill Energy Center is looking for a highly energetic, organized individual for our Office Associate in the Power Production Division!
The Office Associate is a key support role, providing essential administrative services to the Managing Director of Plant Operations and other leaders within the organization. With a blend of clerical and analytical responsibilities, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position is within a job family progression; relevant qualifications will determine placement within the progression.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and coordinate calendars, meetings, presentations, and travel.
- Provide comprehensive support for plant projects, including tracking deadlines and facilitating communications among departments.
- Handle administrative accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, budget tracking, and credit card statement reconciliation.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, maintaining physical and electronic filing systems, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Cultivate superior customer service with vendors, employees, and plant staff while maintaining confidentiality and independence in work execution.
What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- College-level course work in business or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clerical experience is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with basic accounting functions
