The Role

EMsights Capital Group is seeking a diligent office assistant to join our team and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take on various office administrative duties and projects. Candidates must be resourceful, have strong follow-through, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong commitment to teamwork and a proactive approach to achieving results are essential for success in this role. Given the collaborative nature of our small office environment, adaptability and a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities are highly valued. This role requires a combination of administrative efficiency and interpersonal skills to manage daily operations smoothly. Hours are flexible.

Location: Boston, MA

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Specific placement within the provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location as well as relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon Firm and individual performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and support activities for office staff as directed
  • Maintain office inventory, including ordering groceries, snacks, office supplies and any catering needs for meetings
  • Manage the office common areas and ensure all office/kitchen supplies and inventory are organized and well stocked
  • Provide support as needed for expense reporting for office purchases
  • Sort and distribute any incoming mail/packages and reading material
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Administrative assistant/office support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven resourcefulness and independent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at the same time with a commitment to quality
  • Reliable, consistent, friendly and professional approach to work
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree
