We are looking for an Office Assistant who supports the day-to-day operations of the company.

What You Will Do
- Assist in answering commercial business phones
- Manage the job start-up process
- Track time and materials
- Manage Foreman correspondence, dumpsters, inspections, permits, owner training, etc.
- Manage project close-out
- Assistant to GM and VP
- Maintain spreadsheets
What We Want From You
- 2+ years of office assistant experience, preferably within home services
- Professional and customer-focused personality
- Self-starter, reliable, etc.
- Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Telephone etiquette and working knowledge of email systems
- Ability to develop tools that create efficiencies within the department
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Metro Electric is southern Michigan's largest and best educational construction electrical contractor, and also preforms all types of new and remodel electrical construction throughout the commercial and industrial markets. Metro Electric's service department performs any size service type work, and our special divisions group performs Maintenance contract programs.
