DuPont is hiring for an Office Administrator to join its dynamic team located at its manufacturing site in Buffalo, NY.
Yerkes Buffalo is the North American manufacturing home of Corian® solid surface products, introduced in 1968 and the founding manufacturing location for Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) films, introduced in 1961. We are looking for people who have a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that meet our customer needs for a better, healthier, safer life.
In this role you will act to meet the administrative clerical needs of the business in professional manner through document production, correspondence, spreadsheet and database operations, record keeping, communications, administrative problem-solving, and performance of miscellaneous clerical duties.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
Create and maintain schedules, lists, and other documents for production, overtime, vacations, vendors, suppliers, training, etc., as appropriate for the business unit serviced.
Maintain records in manual or electronic systems linked to evolving technologies.
Use spreadsheet or database software to organize data and produce reports, graphs, and presentations required by the business unit.
Set up and maintain comprehensive filing system.
Gather and compile information: safety, inventory, payments, production, accounting data, vendor data, maintenance activity, etc.
Take calls for managers, technical staff, customer service, personnel, etc., and proactively help the caller get the required information.
Take minutes of meetings; organize, summarize and issue reports in professional form.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
A High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 5+ years of experience is required. An Associate’s degree or higher in a business related field may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
All candidates will be required to pass an online assessment indicating proficiency in Microsoft Office.
This position has a current starting rate of $23.46 and will increase to $26.66 once qualified.
