Job Description

Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for an experienced OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Data Centre team in Frankfurt. 

In this role you will  oversee vendor interfaces, schedules, quality, and on‑site installation in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage OFCI vendors to ensure on‑time delivery, installation, and compliance with specifications.
  • Review vendor technical submissions and support change and risk management.
  • Structure the complex work interfaces with ease and showing effective ways of working and managing activities and stakeholders across the critical project management categories of: Scope, Time, Cost and Quality.
  • Align vendor equipment schedules with the overall project programme.
  • Performing in depth contract and scope of work reviews with gap analysis, ensuring all contractual scope is covered between the vendors and site contractors teams.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various client departments and contractors.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and fostering trust throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage OFE schedules, tracking milestones and timelines to guide project execution effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data center commissioning, operations or facility management
  • Experiences with typical equipment involved in data center construction such as generators, MV/LV switchgear, UPS, BAS, EPMS, AHUs
  • QA/QC manufacturing and vendor management experience
  • Proficient in MS Office; document management application experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, German language skills are highly preferred 
  • Availability for on-site work

Skills Required
