Revolgy is a leading multi-cloud partner for Google Cloud and AWS. Our internal operations are managed through a customized, on-premise Odoo 18 instance. To support our company's growth, we require a dedicated specialist for the ongoing development and enhancement of this critical business system.
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to manage this platform. The primary objective is to ensure our internal processes are as efficient and robust as the cloud solutions we deliver to our clients. You will be the primary technical owner for the continuous development of our Odoo 18 platform. Your responsibility will be to translate business requirements from our sales, project, and management teams into well-designed, functional features. This is an internal role, where you will be working with our internal teams – not our customers.
Location 🌍 Remote position open to candidates in Europe.
Contract Type ✍️ This is a Business-to-Business (B2B) contract position for an initial term of 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension.
What will you do? 🔧
- Platform Development: Lead all development activities for our live Odoo 18 platform, focusing on building new features and improving existing functionalities.
- Module Customization: Enhance the CRM, Sales, and Projects, Employees … modules to precisely match our consulting sales cycles and project management methodologies.
- Custom Module Development: Develop, test, and deploy new, targeted Odoo modules to address specific operational requirements.
- Systems Integration: Manage and build upon integrations between Odoo and our other essential business applications.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Utilize AI coding assistants as a core part of your process to ensure high efficiency and code quality.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with our international teams to define requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
What we’re looking for 🎯
- Must-haves:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional Odoo development experience, supported by a portfolio of successfully completed projects.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in the Odoo framework (ORM, Views, Controllers).
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Demonstrated experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
- Proficient with Git for version control.
- Proactive problem solver having ownership and accountability.
- Interest in leveraging modern tools including AI to improve and optimize development workflows.
- Located in Europe and able to work within CEST +/- 1 hour.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Previous work within a technology consultancy, professional services, or B2B SaaS company.
- Direct experience with Odoo 18.
- Familiarity with Linux server administration and Docker for on-premise application management.
