Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehousing Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, and optimal space utilization.
    • Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse team to streamline receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
  • Invoicing and Documentation:
    • Manage the invoice process, ensuring timely and accurate billing for all wholesale accounts.
    • Ensure all documentation related to orders, shipments, and payments are correctly processed and filed.
    • Resolve any invoicing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely supply of products and materials.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and address any issues that arise.
  • Fulfillment and Order Processing:
    • Oversee the fulfillment process for wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Coordinate with the production team to meet order deadlines and manage inventory levels.
    • Implement and monitor KPIs to measure and improve fulfillment performance.
  • Transportation and Logistics:
    • Manage the logistics of transporting goods to wholesale customers, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
    • Work with transportation providers to negotiate rates and services.
    • Monitor and improve transportation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Packaging Requirements:
    • Ensure all products are packed according to the brand’s standards and wholesale requirements.
    • Develop and implement packaging strategies to optimize protection and presentation of products.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in packaging to enhance brand competitiveness.
    • Ensure all packages leave the building in a timely manner meeting all vendor deadlines.
  • Customer Service and Support:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and ensure they are met.
    • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, logistics, or a similar role, preferably within the beauty and skincare industry.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale operations and account management.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to perform physical activity including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50lbs), and walking for your shift.
  • Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other gear to move items around
  • Ability to maneuver through storage racks, trailers, and other areas of the warehouse.
  • Ability to work around moving machines such as order pickers and reach trucks.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment (i.e. exposed to hot, cold and changing temperatures, medium noise level not requiring protective equipment, and dust, dirt and changes in lighting)
