Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help patients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a nurse
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications

  • San Antonio, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
