Christ the King Manor is now accepting applicants for our 120-hour Pennsylvania State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable healthcare experience while preparing for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification Exam and beginning a rewarding career caring for older adults.
Our Nurse Aide Training Program is designed for individuals who are committed to joining the Christ the King Manor team after successfully completing the program and certification requirements.
Program Details- 120-hour State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Length: 3-4 weeks
- Hands-on training with experienced healthcare professionals
- Preparation for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification Exam
We invest in your success!
- $500 bonus after successfully completing the training program, passing the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification Exam, and becoming employed by Christ the King Manor.
- Additional $500 bonus after maintaining Nurse Aide certification and completing six months of employment with Christ the King Manor.
After successfully completing the training program and obtaining certification, Nursing Assistants provide compassionate, person-centered care to our residents by:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care
- Providing functional and restorative care
- Measuring and documenting vital signs and resident observations
- Assisting with basic nursing procedures under the direction of licensed nursing staff
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Following infection prevention and safety procedures
- Preparing residents for therapies, appointments, and physician visits
- Protecting resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
- Maintaining clean, safe resident care areas and equipment
- Working collaboratively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide exceptional care

Employment Commitment
Upon successful completion of the Nurse Aide Training Program and certification, participants are expected to accept a full-time Nursing Assistant position at Christ the King Manor, working:
- Second Shift
- Every Other Weekend
- For the required employment commitment established by Christ the King Manor.

Christ the King Manor is a non-profit Continuum of Care Retirement Community based in DuBois, Pennsylvania. The facility is dedicated to empowering residents to live full and dignified lives through the healing of Jesus Christ, providing a comprehensive range of senior services including home support, independent living (cottages and apartments), a personal care facility, and a skilled nursing facility.
