Job Summary:
- Utilize appropriate scanning protocols and document required information for each study.
- Follow state regulations when performing nuclear medicine studies.
- Ensure patient safety utilizing radiation safe practices.
- Exhibit productive team behavior (service to guests, physicians, and fellow team members).
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
Graduate from approved school of technology and registered (or registry eligible) with ARRT and/ or nuclear medicine board. Organizational and communication skills required.
Experience:
Must have general public knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine imaging based on individual cases using radiation safe practices.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must have good communication skills, some computer skills, be task-oriented, and organized.
Skills Required
