At Altis, we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to step into a key maternity leave cover role and lead the delivery of our marketing strategy with confidence, clarity, and momentum.
This is more than a coordination role. We’re looking for a senior, hands-on marketing leader who can balance strategic thinking with practical execution, work confidently with senior stakeholders, and keep campaigns, channels, and projects moving at pace.
You’ll play a central role in maintaining continuity across the marketing function while helping ensure our brand, messaging, and market presence continue to evolve in line with business priorities.
In this role
You’ll work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and internal stakeholders across the business to lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing activity across multiple channels and initiatives.
Your role will include:
- Lead the delivery and execution of the agreed marketing plan, aligned to the broader Altis strategy
- Translate strategic direction into clear priorities, plans, and execution across campaigns, channels, and regions
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform positioning, messaging, and campaign focus
- Own the end-to-end delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, social, email, events, and partnerships
- Oversee SEO strategy, including keyword research, performance tracking, and on-page and off-page optimisation
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and against agreed performance objectives
- Use data and insights to optimise campaign effectiveness, improve ROI, and support stronger decision-making
- Lead complex marketing projects from planning through to delivery, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and resourcing
- Identify risks early and proactively manage issues to keep projects on track
- Provide clear, regular updates to the Chief Commercial Officer and other key stakeholders
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Consulting, People & Culture, and the Executive team to align marketing activity with business priorities
- Act as a trusted marketing advisor to the business during the maternity leave period
- Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring clear briefs, strong delivery, and value for investment
- Oversee the development of key marketing assets, including website content, campaign materials, thought leadership, and presentations
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints
- Manage budgets in partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer
- Define and track KPIs, and provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations across campaigns and channels
- Support priority business initiatives and ad hoc marketing requirements as needed
What you will bring
We’re looking for someone who combines strong marketing leadership with the ability to stay close to execution and deliver with confidence in a fast-moving environment.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience
- 8–10+ years’ experience in a senior marketing role
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or B2B environments
- Proven success leading integrated marketing campaigns end to end
- Strong capability across digital and content marketing
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing across the business
- Experience leading, mentoring, and supporting team members
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
- A clear interest in data-driven marketing, reporting, and optimisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The mindset that matters
Technical marketing capability is important, but it’s only part of the picture.
We’re also looking for someone who brings:
- A hands-on, delivery-focused mindset
- Strong ownership and accountability
- The confidence to operate autonomously while staying aligned to broader business priorities
- A strategic lens, balanced with practical execution
- Strong stakeholder instincts and the ability to build trust quickly
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to maintain momentum, clarity, and quality across competing priorities

What We Do
Altis is the largest and most experienced Data and Analytics consulting firm in Australia and New Zealand, with over 150 permanent staff, focused on delivering tangible business outcomes. Altis was founded in 1998 by Hyun Choi and Gavin Cooke, with a vision to grow a living company that would continue to be prosperous in the face of whatever the future held. They were not building a business to sell, rather they were fostering a culture that could grow with the modern world. And as Altis did grow, its core ethos developed out of this family foundation. ‘Connecting with Courage, Heart, and Insight’ became the central framework for how Altis operated. In simple terms, it meant a commitment to our team, our clients and our community. Our drive came from building lasting relationships, sharing responsibility and reaching goals together. Even as we’ve continued to expand into Data and Analytics, we’ve held onto this ethos, always putting people first, business second. At Altis, what we provide is ongoing; a permanent seat at the table with equal share in every conversation. We will connect you to thought leaders in the industry, who will provide their insights into your problems. Altis nurtures lifelong learning in all of our team members because we know that a happy, engaged team means happy, loyal customers, which spells success for both of us. This is the belief that Altis was founded on, the way that we work now, and the way we will continue to work in the years to come. Over the last 25 years, Altis has delivered a variety of projects ranging from Strategies to Delivery to Managed Services for clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Auckland and London. In addition to local success, Altis has been recognised worldwide including being published in CIO Magazine in the UK, DM Review and by its exclusive partnership with Kimball University and Stephen Few.
