We are looking for a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant specializing in DevSecOps & Application Security to join our team. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor across our DevSecOps vendor portfolio. You will help channel partners and enterprise customers integrate static code analysis, software supply chain security, automated testing, and cloud-native protection directly into their CI/CD pipelines and multi-cloud environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Pre-Sales & Technical Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert across key application security and cloud platforms—including OpenText Fortify, OpenText LR/UFT, Sonatype, Aqua Security, Wiz and more. Lead technical presentations, solution demos, and architectural discussions.
  • Pipeline & Shift-Left Integration: Architect and demonstrate end-to-end DevSecOps workflows, showing how code analysis (SAST/DAST), dependency scanning (SCA), continuous testing, and cloud security posture management (CSPM/CNAPP) integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on POC Execution: Independently scope, design, and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs). Validate technical success criteria by configuring automated security scans, software bill of materials (SBOM) policies, container runtime protection, and agentless cloud risk analysis.
  • RFP & Solution Scoping: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW), compliance matrices, and detailed technical proposals tailored to enterprise application and cloud architectures.
  • Partner Enablement & Education: Conduct technical enablement workshops, product update sessions, and hands-on labs for channel partner engineers and customer development/security teams.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Partner with Channel Account Managers and Product Managers to qualify opportunities, address technical objections, and drive deal closure.
Technical RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in cybersecurity, application security (AppSec), or software development/DevOps environments.
Technical Skill Set & Product Familiarity
    • Application Security & Testing: Solid understanding of SAST/DAST concepts and automated performance/functional testing integration.
    • Software Supply Chain & Open Source: Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA), governance, and vulnerability management in open-source components.
    • Container & Cloud-Native Security: Knowledge of container security, Kubernetes protection, image scanning, and runtime defence.
    • Cloud Security Posture (CNAPP/CSPM): Understanding of agentless cloud risk scanning, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) analysis, and multi-cloud risk posture.
    • CI/CD & DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience or familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and container ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes).
    Key Competencies
    • Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences—from developers and DevOps engineers to CISOs and security leads.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capability to troubleshoot pipeline integrations, scan configurations, and deployment issues during POCs.
    • Initiative & Growth Mindset: Self-driven ability to achieve product certifications and keep pace with rapid shifts in cloud-native and AppSec technologies.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Hands-on experience or relevant certifications will be a PLUS.
