As an NPO Engineer at Nokia, you will optimize multi-vendor Radio Networks, primarily focusing on 4G while extending expertise to 2G, 3G, and 5G systems. You will analyze network performance, engage with customers to identify needs, and implement troubleshooting strategies to enhance coverage, quality, and user experience. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will drive improvements to meet performance KPIs, generate comprehensive reports, and guide customers through activation plans. Responsibilities- Optimize multi-vendor Radio Networks (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G) to meet performance KPIs.
- Conduct analysis of poor cell performance and implement troubleshooting strategies.
- Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Tune Radio Network parameters to enhance coverage, quality, capacity, and user experience.
- Perform root cause analysis for end-to-end issues and devise actionable solutions.
- Create comprehensive SLA KPI reports for optimization and acceptance processes.
- Coordinate site acceptance for new integrations and expansions, including physical site optimization.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in RF Planning & Optimization for 2G, 3G, LTE/VoLTE, and 5G networks
- Strong expertise in Ericsson and Nokia Radio Access technologies
- Ability to conduct in-depth analysis from radio network statistics and Layer 3 traces
- Experience in customer management to maximize customer satisfaction
Nice-To-Have:
- Experience with Drive-Test log analysis and proficiency in NPO tools
- Knowledge of multi-layer, multi-technology Radio Network Parameter tuning
- Strong skills in MS Office suite, including PowerPivot, Power BI, and Power Automate
- Exhibits creativity and resourcefulness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing
