Full-time or part-time, independent contractor

1-5 years

• Be present at the time of document execution, which may include traveling to clients' homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely (RON).

• Verify the identification of signers, witnesses, and participants.

• Ensure document execution with legally binding signatures.

• Affirm the state of mind of all signers to identify fraud or coercion.

• Administer oaths and handle various legal documents such as affidavits, contracts, loan documents, and marriage certificates.

• Bear witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalent.

• Maintain a notary journal as required by the commissioned state.

• Schedule notary appointments and manage workload.

• Attend Sybil Mobile Notary trainings and required events.

• Accept or decline new job orders and adhere to the rules of SMN and its clients.

• NNA Certifications required.

• Meets all the state's requirements to be a commissioned notary.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Familiarity with legal documents and loan documents.

• Flexibility and professionalism.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• RON Certified notaries are preferred.

• Multilingual abilities are desired.
