Responsible for the underwriting of non-agency and non-QM loans as well as reviewing supporting documentation to assess borrowers' credit worthiness and ability to repay the mortgage obligation. Supporting documentation to include, but not limited to, credit reports, income documentation, asset documentation, appraisals and collateral reports, fraud prevention tools and any other documents necessary to render a decision. This position is full-time; non-exempt. This position reports to Secondary Marketing.
Required Skills
· Recent manual underwriting experience in the mortgage industry.
· Proficient with selfemployed income calculations and guidelines
· Non-agency underwriting experience preferred
· Expertise in FNMA/FHLMC lending a must
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must

Education/Experience
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Minimum 4 years residential underwriting experience
