Neofin is strengthening its Operational & Non-Financial Risk practice to support leading financial institutions in an increasingly demanding regulatory and risk environment.
We are looking for a Non-Financial Risk Consultant to work on high-impact assignments, helping clients design, enhance and operationalize robust risk frameworks in line with regulatory expectations and business realities.
This role offers exposure to complex transformation programs, close interaction with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to develop strong expertise across operational, ICT and conduct risks.
Job DescriptionAs a consultant, you will contribute to a wide range of non-financial risk initiatives, including:
- Supporting non-financial and operational risk assessments, from diagnosis to implementation of corrective actions
- Designing and enhancing risk frameworks covering:
- Operational Risk
- ICT & Cyber Risk
- Third-Party / Outsourcing Risk
- Conduct & Business Risk
- Delivering gap analyses and regulatory uplift programs, particularly in response to evolving European regulations (e.g. DORA)
- Contributing to incident management and root cause analysis, including remediation plans
- Supporting or implementing RCSA, KRI frameworks, risk mapping and governance processes
- Preparing risk committees, dashboards and management reporting
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, IT and Operations
- Participating in client workshops and supporting change management initiatives
Minimum 5 years of experience in operational or non-financial risk, gained within:
- a financial institution (bank, insurer, asset manager), or
- a consulting / advisory firm
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations (EBA, ECB, ACPR), with a strong focus on DORA
- Proven experience with risk methodologies such as RCSA, KRI, incident management or control frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex topics
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while integrating into multi-disciplinary teams
- Fluent English and French
