RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in an Agile development environment, be able to lead scrum meetings, and delivering incremental improvements to the project.
- Deliver independently complex tasks/features/research projects from scratch.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Node.js and ReactJS, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and design the architecture of applications.
- Review code written by other team members, offer feedback, and ensure that code quality standards are met.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of Node.js development.
- Ensure that the Node.js application is secure by implementing best security practices and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
- Identify opportunities for code refactoring and optimization to enhance code maintainability and efficiency.
- Should possess strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively coordinate with team members, communicate project status to stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Support in pair programming if needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must:
- 3-4 years of experience in software development
- Strong NodeJs experience
- React 15 (Redux)
- AWS Basics with some knowledge of cloud deployments and troubleshooting
- Git
- OOP fundamentals
- Oracle DB 12c+
- Postgres
- Agile (scrum, kanban)
- Good English communication
- Nice to have:
- Jenkins
- Jest
