NOC Coordinator (Infrastructure & Rail)
Dubai
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented (Infrastructure & Rail) to join our Construction Supervision team here on a large Metro (Rail) project in Dubai!
What You'll Be Doing:
Liaise with relevant government agencies, authorities, and the client team to secure necessary approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
Attend project kick-off and coordination meetings, providing support to the design team throughout the NOC process.
Monitor the progress of drawings and documentation related to NOC submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support the project team in obtaining all required approvals in a timely manner.
Coordinate with clients (internal and external) and liaise with government entities and service authorities across the UAE to address technical queries and resolve issues.
Track the status of utilities NOCs and ensure completion within the required timeframes.
Regularly review project schedules to identify potential delays or deviations related to NOC progress and recommend corrective actions.
Participate in design coordination meetings, contributing to process improvements where necessary.
Collect and consolidate information from agencies, consultants, and contractors to prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports, as well as design documentation for management and clients.
Attend project meetings, provide updates on NOC progress, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
Perform other related responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience in NOC role, preferably in infrastructure industry within Dubai.
Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Dubai and Northern Emirates, and their NOC system.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Valid UAE driving license and access to a car, as the role requires frequent travel to government offices and service authorities.
