The NIKE, Inc. Global Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Our Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. We plan, make, and position products to deliver on our athlete* promise on a global scale. We strive towards a more responsive, resilient, and responsible supply chain to drive efficiencies and support the rapid evolution and growth of our marketplace and consumers.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Our Supply Chain Planning team is looking for a graduate student who is curious about how consumer demand, marketplace strategies and product plans come together to shape an integrated operating plan. You bring strong analytical thinking, business judgment and an ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommended actions. You are a collaborative problem solver who can work through ambiguity, build productive relationships and communicate with impact.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:
In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you’ll contribute to high-priority, real business initiatives that align with the NIKE, Inc. strategic roadmap.
With the guidance of senior leaders and experienced managers, you’ll take ownership of a project that’s been scoped to drive impact. These projects are designed to challenge your critical thinking, further develop your skills and foster effective collaboration while contributing directly to your team’s goals.
As a Supply Chain Planning Graduate Intern, you will work within North America Marketplace Planning and across a broad cross-functional network. You may have the opportunity to:
- Support demand, sales, receipt and inventory planning across a portfolio of marketplace partners, sports or product areas.
- Analyze consumer, marketplace, financial and inventory data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and planning trade-offs.
- Help connect top-down financial targets with bottoms-up product and inventory plans across pre-season and in-season timeframes.
- Support recurring planning processes and the reconciliation of operational, assortment and marketplace plans.
- Build forecasts, scenarios, dashboards or decision frameworks that improve visibility and enable timely action.
- Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate decision impacts to cross-functional partners and leaders.
- Contribute to tools, playbooks or process improvements that strengthen planning consistency, accuracy and connectivity.
