We are seeking a Next Gen QA Lead with 8+ years to:
Lead and manage the quality engineering team on client projects, providing guidance, mentorship and support to ensure the team's success.
Advising our clients on quality assurance, shaping their test strategies, guiding them on leading practice
Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive quality engineering strategies, approaches and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning for the quality engineering team.
Collaborate with programme and project management, business owners, development teams, and operations to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage.
Define the planning, approaches, execution, and reporting of software testing activities on the projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and leading practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the quality engineering function.
Client Stakeholder Management and Test Reporting
Perform sales and solution support in quality engineering opportunities including solution planning, timeline, estimate and team structure
You should have:
Proven Leadership in Agile & DevOps Delivery - experienced in working as part of a cross-functional multi-location engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions, using Agile, scrum and DevOps practices, ensuring continuous integration, deployment and improvement. Champion best practices in software development and delivery.
Technical Expertise - Deep understanding of software development life cycles & modern engineering practices. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Azure DevOps, Selenium, JUnit or similar. Appreciation of cloud platform capabilities, microservices architecture and automation tools to drive scalable, reliable and secure delivery.
Expert level of knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and leading practice
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate findings and status to a non-technical audience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management - Skilled in managing delivery roadmaps, aligning business and technology goals, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Business Development & Growth – Confidently present to clients, showcasing expertise and innovative thinking.
