Afar is the award-winning travel media brand that makes a positive impact on the world through high-quality storytelling that inspires, empowers, and enriches travelers who care. We are looking for a part-time Newsletter Producer to support our email program. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented with strong organizational and collaboration skills. This role will be part of Afar’s Audience Development team and is a great opportunity to gain email and content strategy skills for a fast-growing travel media brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build Afar’s daily and weekly editorial newsletter sends
Partner with marketing team to manage assets and build all sponsored email campaigns40-50 hours/month
The right candidate will:
Have 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing
Be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
Be interested in learning about content marketing Have excellent time management skills
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentHave experience working with an email CRM software.
Sailthru and Canva experience is a plus.
Be passionate about travel and travel journalism
Preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business, or equivalent experience
