The New Model Readiness team within Customer Care and Aftersales is seeking a creative problem solver and risk taker that wants to impact the direction of the Supply Chain as well as support our internal and external customers. Our team members are driven to translate ask into action plans; fail fast and learn to ensure that all customer needs are met. Strategy: Support the strategic development, planning, and execution required to support all new programs domestic, Mexico and export vehicle launches of which service parts supply is are required at the start of production
Execution: Facilitate new model process oversight and execution necessary to set up parts in the system which allow for order placement, processing, and part availability with the contracted supply base.
Escalation: Drive visibility and successful escalation of parts not meeting readiness timing deliverables
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers.
- Responsible for supporting relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to part readiness at ship to commerce date.
- Assess supplier schedules and impact on meeting objectives.
- Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions.
- Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.
- Handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential part disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
- Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
- Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
- Problem solve complete issue and implement new and innovative strategies.
- Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions

Additional Description
Required Qualifications:
- 3 -5 years of experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Engineering or related
- Work with a one team mindset with members from Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Service Engineering, Supplier Quality (PPAP) and Packaging teams to proactively drive effective business decisions supporting achievement of business goals
- Recognized ability to act with a sense of urgency to problem solve issues with an understanding of impacts to both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated interpersonal capabilities working with multiple stakeholders who may have conflicting metrics and may ultimately require facilitating a compromise to reach the best solution
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Competency in MS Office Suite, proficiency in MS Excel
- Power BI or Tableau experience
Preferred qualifications:
- CCA Supply Chain experience
- Bachelors Degree
- SQL
- CCA data warehouse familiarity
- 1-2 years of Data Analytics
