Description: You will be supporting CNO and working alongside the ATPG customer, to understand operational requirements to design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain operational network infrastructure. You will be working as part of a team to build infrastructure capabilities including tool development as part of a continuous integration/continuous deployment infrastructure. As part of the ATPG team, you will have the freedom to identify problems, test and deploy solutions, and most importantly see your work in action! You will work with a diverse team of analysts and operators to identify these problems, and watch mission utilize what you've built on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code deployments in a production environment.
  • Utilize advanced technologies, including AI models and tools to manage and automate build processes.
  • Take complex requirements from mission customers and develop end to end solutions as part of a team.
  • Manage and sustain an essential GitLab deployment, including CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Build out services and tooling to automate infrastructure deployment.
  • Use open source and proprietary software to collect metrics from various applications, hardware, and network appliances.
  • Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results.

Skills Requirements:

  • Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization platforms.
  • Infrastructure automation tools such as Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Development experience in a Linux environment.
  • Passion for system reliability engineering - collecting metrics and improve system resilience and software performance in a production environment.
  • Experience with structured databases such as postgres or SQLite.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience scripting in Python, Go, Javascript, and Bash .
  • Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency.
  • Experience with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve.
  • Experience with DevOps practices.
  • CNO Experience.

YOE Requirement: 12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.

Location: NBP

This position is 100% on-site. Applicants for positions requiring security clearance will be automatically rejected for candidates not meeting the Security Clearance requirement.
