We seek to hire a New Business Coordinator , join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients while at the same time supporting our advisors efficiently, processing, tracking, and executing all business transactions for both Life Insurance and Investments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Financial Advisors including application data entry and case tracking for all lines of business
- Deliver prompt communication on the status of accounts in our database
- Act as liaison between Advisors and Home Office until policy completion
- Proactively follow up on NIGO’s
- Collaborate with Team Lead on all assigned advisor planning client households
- Collaborate with other New Business Coordinators to serve as back up support when needed
- Help train new New Business Coordinators and Advisors on the process
- Diligently and in real-time communicate case status in Salesforce
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Develop understanding of Insurance & Investment Business Submission process through home office
- Provide expertise knowledge within Practice360 in regard to insurance related questions
- Special Projects and other job duties as necessary
- Contact clients to pre-fill paperwork and address discrepancies as needed
- Request, track, and file all pertinent documents for each financial product, as required
- Promptly respond regarding Advisor new business submissions and follow ups
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of financial concepts
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive and professional attitude
- Strong sense of customer service
- 1-2 years financial services experience preferred
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in insurance or financial services, preferably in a client-facing or administrative role.
- Knowledge of insurance products, financial planning, or investment management is a strong advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, advisors, and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
