JOB TITLE:  Neurologist

STATUS: Regular Full-Time

If you have a perceptive passion to promote, restore and protect the mental health of individuals and their families in a collaborative team environment, with an innate learning desire that resonates with our core values, we would like to meet you.  Ultimately, as a licensed Neurologist, you will play an important role on the Medical Team demonstrating the highest standard of productivity to deliver and enhance best practices patient care.

The Impact You’ll Have  

  • You'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, including strokes, dementia, seizures, and Parkinson's disease
  • You'll order, review, and analyze tests, such as electroencephalograms and EMG’s
  • You'll share findings with the entire medical team, and communicate treatment options internally and with patients, family members, and caregivers
  • You'll monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, medications, and considering referrals as appropriate
  • You'll respond quickly to emergent situations requiring time-sensitive evaluation and treatment

Need to Haves  

  • Doctorate of Medicine
  • License to practice medicine in Nebraska
  • Certification in neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Professional demeanor, ability to work amid interruptions, ability to handle patient complaints, excellent judgment in dealing with patients, care in protecting patient privacy and confidentiality  
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to take initiative, exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality, establish priorities, work independently, and ability to keep professional boundaries with patients.  
  • Individual must have the ability to work in a team environment. Must demonstrate a deep concern for the health and well-being of others
