Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess either a CCNA or CCNP certification and have a strong background in network support and troubleshooting. This role is crucial for maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional technical support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot network issues for end-users and internal teams.
- Maintain and monitor network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of network hardware and software.
- Document technical procedures, network configurations, and support tickets.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure network security protocols are followed and assist in security audits.
- Respond to support requests promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is required.
- Proven experience in IT support, including network troubleshooting and configuration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in using network diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments is a plus.
