About the Role
We’re looking for a mid-level Network Engineer with a solid foundation in core networking principles and hands-on experience supporting business-grade network environments.
This is a support-focused engineering role, ideal for someone who loves solving problems, maintaining uptime, and keeping complex networks running smoothly. You’ll be working within an experienced team that manages a mix of enterprise and SME clients, helping diagnose issues, maintain infrastructure, and contribute to ongoing improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests
- Configure, monitor, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
- Assist with network performance tuning, upgrades, and patch management
- Support VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching in production environments
- Ability to work on systems (Windows Server, M365, Azure) related support tickets an advantage
- Work with senior engineers on project delivery and system enhancements
- Document network changes, incidents, and configurations in line with best practice
- Collaborate with helpdesk, systems, and project teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Participate in the rotating on-call roster and occasional onsite (generally Perth based) engagements at our customers
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years’ experience in a networking or network support role
- You MUST have a strong foundation in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting. This will be a focus when we meet to review your application
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Ubiquiti, or Aruba equipment
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
- Exposure to monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Autotask)
- A troubleshooting mindset with great communication and documentation skills
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Network+) highly regarded
- Regular attendance in our West Leederville office with WFH flexibility agreements available
