  • SD-WAN Deployment & Configuration
    • Install and configure SD-WAN edge devices, controllers, and orchestrators.
    • Apply zero-touch provisioning and maintain deployment templates.
  • Automation
    • Execute automation tasks
    • Validation of the automation tasks executed
    • Plan the processes that can be automated
    • Execute the automation plan

Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Performance Monitoring
    • Use SD-WAN dashboards to track link health, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
    • Generate reports for SLA compliance and network optimization.
  • Troubleshooting
    • Diagnose connectivity issues across multiple transport links.
    • Perform root cause analysis using built-in diagnostic tools and packet captures.
  • Firmware & Software Updates
    • Schedule and execute updates for SD-WAN appliances and controllers.
    • Validate compatibility and rollback plans for upgrades.

Coordination & Documentation

  • Vendor Coordination
    • Liaise with SD-WAN solution providers for support and escalations.
    • Manage licensing and subscription renewals.
  • Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of SD-WAN configurations, policies, and changes.

Optimization & Reporting

  • Capacity Planning
    • Recommend scaling strategies for future growth.

On duty shifts will be required.


Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
•3/4+ years of experience focused on network support, configuration, and implementation
•Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision

Technical Competencies

Professionals in this role often need foundational knowledge in:

  • Programming & Automation
  • Ability to write scripts or adapt code for operational improvements and automation tasks
  • Testing & Validation
    Conducting performance and integration testing to ensure system stability.  

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
•Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center experience
•Experience with design and implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks

•3/4+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.

•Networking and security architecture and engineering support experience across local, regional, and global domains
Certifications & Training preferred

  • Cisco SD-WAN Specialist
  • VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud Certification
  • CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (as foundational networking certifications).
