- Install, configure, and maintain servers, including physical and virtual servers, to support hospital operations.
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal server performance, and uptime.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Implement and maintain storage solutions, such as SAN and NAS systems, to efficiently store and manage hospital data.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical hospital data.
- Provide technical support and assistance to hospital staff and end-users to resolve IT-related issues and ensure smooth operation of hospital systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement security best practices to protect hospital IT infrastructure from cyber threats and breaches.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure management and recommend innovative solutions to improve hospital IT operations.
- Document IT infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades and migrations, to support hospital growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of server, network, and storage technologies, including Windows and Linux servers, Cisco networking equipment, and SAN/NAS storage systems.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, like VMware.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
- Good understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA Network+, are a plus.
