Position Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Position Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Position Type: Direct-hire (full-time)
Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph
Description: Cybersecurity Engineer to support an exciting Computer Network Defense mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct network defense and vulnerability assessment activities
- Analyze network traffic, audit logs, and security events
- Investigate cyber threats and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform packet analysis and support incident response efforts
- Produce technical reports and recommendations for government stakeholders
- Collaborate with mission teams to improve security posture
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (or CI Poly completed within the last 6 years)
- Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista network devices
- Hands-on experience with Splunk and Elastic
- Experience with vulnerability assessments, network security, and cybersecurity analysis
- Strong understanding of network protocols and packet analysis
Preferred Skills
- Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network analysis tools
- Digital forensics and intrusion detection
- MITRE ATT&CK and NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Security scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, or CISSP
- Familiarity with Network Device Integrity (NDI) methodologies
